Metallic Corrugated Hose
The product shown in the picture is metallic corrugated hose with end fittings and is nicknamed " Anaconda" due to its shape. this is used in domestic supply of PNG and is interposed between shutt-off ball valve and the gas meter since the axis of shut-off valve and the meter inlet are at 90 deg. the specifications of hose are as under:
Material of corrugated hose: SS304
Material of end fittings: white zinc plated M.S.
I.D. of hose: 1/2" or 12mm
Flexibility class: "B"
Overall length: 350mm
End fittings: one end 3/4" BSPT(M) for shut-off valve and the other end 3/4"BSPT(F) in swivel nut with flat face bull nose and a neoprene rubber washer for sealing for meter connection. Thus one hose is used for every domestic PNG connection.
