Pulsation Dampeners/Snubbers

Special features :These are designed to protect pressure instruments from sudden pressure changes and fluctuation of pressurising fluid. Sudden pressure changes are dampened before they reach the pressure sensing element to minimise stress on it and giving it longer life. These find applications in hydraulic machines, compressors, process plants etc.The restriction is adjustable. Normally connections are 1/2" NPT(M) X 1/2"NPT(F) but other combinations can be provided on request. Material of construction is C.S/SS304,SS316 but other materials can also be provided on request.

Condensate/Seal Pots

Seal / Condensate pots are used as part of instrumentation piping in all those applications where a direct contact of the sensing elements with process media is not recommended.

They serve for collecting deposits, dirts, moisture and other elements that might injure the instruments or impair their precise operations. They also serve as reservoirs for sealing liquids, in the measurements of high density or corrosive fluids.
These condensate pots are also used in impulse lines for flow measurement of steam.These are available in carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel.these are made from seamless pipes in 3000 and 6000 lbs ratings.

Syphons Tube

The Siphon Tube is connected between the pressure gauge & process in applications where high temperature vapours or fluids are present or temperature above 65 Deg C for eg. steam. It acts as a cooling coil and protects the gauge from high temperature vapours, by dissipating heat. A gauge cock is generally connected between the pressure gauge and syphon for isolation.
These are normally made from Sch. 80, Sch. 160 and Sch.XXS seamless pipes in carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.

Thermowells

Thermowells are recommended to protect both the operator and the temperature sensor. The proper thermowell will reduce the possibility of damage to the temperature sensor due to corrosion, pressure or the flow of abrasive or viscous media. In addition a defective instrument may be removed without shutting down or draining the process. Most wells have 1/2" process & instrument connections with a 0.260" bore. Wells with other dimensions and materials are readily available on order.

Union Nut And Tail Piece

These are used for connecting the instruments to the impulse pipe without rotating the instrument such as pressure gauge, pr. switch, valve manifolds etc. These are made in carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel and the tail piece to suit sch.40,sch.80, sch.160 or sch. xxs pipes.The sealing between hex. nipple and tail piece is provided by copper/aluminium/teflon washer.

Hex. Nipple With Nut & Bull Nose Nipple

These are used for connecting valves in a pipe line system without rotating the valves. The valves can be removed from the pipe line for servicing without disturbing the piping set-up. the sealing is made between spherical face of the bull nose nipple and the female taper in the hex. nipple. Since the sealing is metal to metal, no sealing washer is required. The material of construction is carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. Other materials can also be supplied on request. These can be supplied suitable for 1/2" to 2" NB pipe

Control Valve Gland Packing Lubricators

These lubricators are used for pushing the grease into the graphited asbestos gland packing of control valves for steam service. The male threads of the lubricator nipple is screwed to the female threads provided in the bonnet of control valve and thus becomes the permanent part of the control valve. For filling the grease into the lubricator, the shut-off valve is closed by turning the bar handle and the hex. head screw is removed.The screw is restored in its place after filling the grease. For pushing the grease into the gland packing,the shut-off valve is opened and the screw is rotated in clock wise direction which pushes the grease forward. The material of lubricator is zinc plated M.S., other materials can be provided on request.
